About Me

Hi, I'm Whitney...you can call me Whit. Welcome to our little speck on the internet. This blog is a piece of me that celebrates the joy, adventures, challenges, and tears experienced by my family.

Ben and I met while studying at BYU-Idaho. Him: art education. Me: nursing. Ben asked me out for months before I finally gave into his smooth charms and gorgeous blue eyes. He became my best friend: co-partner in brownie binges, ballroom dance, and dates to the park to ride the swings. We were married a year later on a rainy day in August at the Logan LDS Temple and made our family eternal.

Since then, we packed up our Hyundai and moved more times than I would like to count or admit and currently live in Utah

I am an RN in a Newborn ICU and Ben is a High School Art teacher. We love our jobs and work hard--regardless of what our bank account says. We are huge fans of chocolate, long boarding, the ocean, Christmas, seeing new places, and spending precious time with family.

Our littles, Jude and Lola make our days chaotic, messy, and blessed. They are sweet babies and good friends. We also have a beautiful great dane Sam, who has taken up our couches and hearts for almost six years.

So, that's a little about me and my family--sometimes it feels more like a zoo than anything, but they are mine. And I love them. You probably will too as you read this blog. Enjoy!
