Here Goes.

Hmmm. I never thought I would join the blogging world, but here I am. I guess the whole idea of a blog seemed a little self-promoting, and, "ooh, look at me and my perfect life." And let's be honest. Who has time for it? But...past experiences of me writing have been most clarifying and rewarding. I'm similar to others in the fact that I think clearer and express myself the easiest and most rewardingly through words. So, to get to the point--I'm writing for me. To celebrate travel, family, failure, and life. If you are reading this, fantastic--I hope you enjoy and get something out of what I have to say. I echo Andre Dubus who said:
I might as well plunge into it, write it, not to rid myself of it, because writing does not rid me of anything, but just to go there...and find the music for it, and see if in that place, there was any light.

So, here goes...I'm going to "plunge" in.
