Danes on Vacation

To celebrate our four year anniversary (holy cow, where did the time go?), we took a much needed trip to California. We had a blast spending time with the fam and couldn't get enough of Mom's cooking. We are seriously so blessed to have such a stellar family to love us. And our dogs.

That's right...we took the boys with us! They were rockstars for the 11 hour drive and had fun playing with Nana and Grampe. They were spoiled with brand new toys just begging to be ripped to shreds, full access to treats, and taking naps on any furniture pieces they could fit on. 

We rented a beach house up north and spent the weekend with family. We ate way too much food, talked late into the night, and made some cherished memories. I really hit the jackpot with my in-laws. The day we spent on the beach was one I won't forget. Our boys were in complete heaven and couldn't get enough of the water and the ease of digging in the sand. 

It can be a hassle to travel with dogs, especially danes, but seeing them run and be free made everything worth it. Prepare yourself for like a bazillion pictures of our lovely week.
