Thankful
It's that time of year when we are reminded we should be thankful. While I try to have an attitude of gratitude daily, there's just something about the holiday season that kicks the feeling into high gear. So, here are a few things that I'm thankful for:
- A wonderful, funny, supportive husband who kisses me like he's leaving for war when we part.
- Two families who love us and beautiful nieces and nephews who make us hope our kid will be half as adorable as they are.
- Our home that houses many memories and keeps us warm.
- Donuts. Enough said.
- The little peanut who is growing in my belly and was wise enough to choose a debut anytime but RSV season (mommy thanks you).
- Hot cocoa that is consumed by the gallon around here.
- Jobs that make it possible for us to eat and help us enjoy time at home.
- The gospel of Jesus Christ which gives our lives meaning and makes our trials worth it.
- Dogs (aka: babies) who are spoiled and loved beyond words.
- Lysol wipes that make cleaning a dream.
- Fluffy socks and towels.
I could go on for days. What about you? What are you thankful for?
