Jude is Three!
Hey Jude,
Today is your third birthday! I CANNOT BELIEVE IT! (Said like Quincy from Einsteins, your favorite show). You are the best boy in the whole world and we feel so lucky to have you in our family. The last three years have been everything we've hoped for.
I love talking with you. Having conversations and laughing together is one of my favorite things about you getting older.
I love your smile. You have mastered the "picture smile," but I like the one that appears on your face when you see a garbage truck outside or when Sam licks your face better.
I love how soft and snuggly you are. You still let me or your dad snuggle and rock you every night before bed. You still lay on me with your head toward the vent side. Once a preemie, always a preemie.
I love how smart you are. You have so many books memorized and you know so many words. My silent little baby has grown into a wonderfully verbose boy.
I love that you are kind. We rocked your world bringing home a little sister and you have been very patient and loving to her.
I love that reading is your favorite things to do. We have had such good times with our noses in books having new adventures and learning about new creatures and places.
I love you, son. Just the way you are. I wouldn't change one single thing. Happy birthday, miracle boy!
Love you forever,
Mama
